V & A Waterfront is the heart and soul of Cape Town and the most-visited area of South Africa that is located between the terrific Table Mountain and the ravishing Robin Island. Apart from that the region also houses Breakwater Lodge ( It was actually a prison that was built in 1859 and is now the part of a hotel and a university. The prisoners were transported here to participate in the construction of the harbour and the treadmills’ remains on which they were punished, are still visible) and the The Scratch Patch ( A popular and an inexpensive tour for all ages; the Scratch patch offers a variety of colourful and valuable gemstones such as Crystals, Agates, Jasper, Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Tiger’s eye.
