Emirates Airline is without a doubt, the world’s fastest growing airline and to nail it, the carrier has announced latest additions in its flight network.
According to its bulletin released on March 09, 2011 Emirates airline is introducing its third daily service from Manchester and second daily service to Cape Town. It is one of the few airlines offering flights to South Africa with one stop only. Emirates flight route involves going via Dubai, where many people chose to stay longer and double their joy by duty free shopping.
Emirates Airline Leisure Fares Department UK further stated that the launch of its third daily service from Manchester Airport and Second daily service to Cape Town is effective from 01 May 11.
In addition to the introduction of its A380 aircraft on the route last September, which followed the dedicated airport lounge in 2009, this new flight from Manchester firmly positions Emirates as the leading scheduled airline for customers in the North West. The airline has specified that its flight number EK 22 and EK 21 will be operated by its A330-200 aircraft with First, Business and Economy class configurations.
Further, effective from 27 March 11 Emirates will also commence a second daily service to Cape Town. This flight will be operated by its A340-500 aircraft with First, Business and Economy class cabins. The flight numbers specified are EK772 and EK773. To mark this new flight, special cheap fares to Cape Town will also be announced shortly.
Emirates other destinations in South Africa also include flights to Johannesburg and the third largest city of the country, Durban.
