The UAE based carrier, Gulf Air has announced a new route in its network. The airline is now offering flights to Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Not only that, but to mark the event ‘Ethiopia Launch Special Fares’ have also been announced by the carrier for a limited time only.
In this offer, travelers booking their flights from London Heathrow (LHR) to Addis Ababa (ADD) can book their tickets from a starting fare as low as 190 GBP approx plus taxes (any Service charge where applicable). Other fares offered in the economy class of Gulf Air range between 275 to 400 GBP excl. tax and s.c. Also, this generosity is not limited to Economy class flights to Ethiopia. The airline’s Falcon Gold Business class is also on SALE starting from a cheap fare of 900 GBP approx excl. tax and sc.
The SALE and ticketing requirement associated with this offer states that tickets should be booked from March 02, 2011 up until March 22, 2011. Please do not confuse it with the Travel Period as Travel Period is the window of dates, for which you can book your departure and return dates. However, the SALE and ticketing deadline is by which the tickets on this fare will expire and new fare will take over. Hence, the travel dates that can be booked until 22 March start from March 02 until June 30, 2011.
The only Blackout period for which out bound and in bound travel is restricted is between 20th to 26th April, 2011.
